ISAR 2022 CONFERENCE

Following Mary Oliver’s advice to “let the soft animal of your body love what it loves,” this workshop will develop a multidimensional perspective of Venus in our lives and relationships.  Drawing from layers of Mesopotamian, Greek, and Roman myths of Venus and her lovers, we will explore the desires, needs, and action urges that constellate when caught in the goddess’s irresistible magnetism.  Using the felt sense, imagery, movement, and music, we will develop a multisensory perception of Venus, and of the particular relational dynamics she draws to us through sign and house placement, aspect, dignity, debility, bonification, and maltreatment.
